Tactics Of The Enemy

Beware of the tactics of the enemy

Revelation 12:10 (TPT)

Then I heard a triumphant voice in heaven proclaiming: “Now salvation and power are set in place, and the kingdom reign of our God and the ruling authority of his Anointed One are established. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who relentlessly accused them day and night before our God, has now been defeated—cast out once and for all!

1 peter 5:7-8

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you.
8 Remain calm, and pay attention; because your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is continually walking around looking for someone that he can swallow up and overwhelm (GBMV).

His Hand of Protection is Upon us All the Time.

We all face challenges in our lives. In most cases, we just dismiss and do not seek a solution from the Lord. Sometimes we just say, It is just life, and we settle with it. It’s important that we present everything to the Lord to find a permanent solution. In one of my last articles, I shared about how we can open a door for the enemy to start working against us and our progress.

Today I want to show you some of the tactics he uses to attack us.

I remember one day as I was driving to work. One car just cut across my lane, and in trying to avoid an accident, I lost control, and my car went and hit a huge wall of a particular yard.

The wall was made of bricks, and about 5-7 meters of the bricks fell from the wall. Some of them fell and crushed my car, the other damage was caused by the impact as the car hit the wall.

The Lord was so merciful to me, there were four obstacles that the Lord helped me to avoid, and I must admit that I was not able to avoid them, it was only the hand of the Lord that rescued me. The first obstacle was the car I mentioned, the second one was a pedestrian walking beside the road, the third one was the electric pole, and the last one (the fourth one) was the main switch for electric power, which was more dangerous than anything else.

The Lord took total control, and I did not hit any of those things that I mentioned, except the wall for the yard. The enemy wanted to finish with me that day or even cause some untold harm in the lives of others, but the Lord prevented it from happening.

That day, so many things were against me, the first thing was fear, of course, the fear that I may be injured, even though wasn’t. Then the police officers interrogated me. They even pressed charges against me, even though I did not hit the car that made me cause the accident. The other guy that I tried to avoid disappeared, and I could not locate him. The last one was the owner of the yard because I had to rebuild the wall of the yard the same day.

To avoid long stories, let me just show you from the Word of God how the enemy works to destroy us, remember he does not love God and His creation, particularly human beings because they have been created in the image and likeness of God.

Tactic 1

The first tactic is that he uses what the Bible refers to as deception. This means spiritual blindness. This means failing to accept the truth, and believing his lies because he is a liar by nature. He came to Adam and Eve and deceived them, then caused them to sin, and their sin affected the whole human race, because they were the first parents. That means their offspring inherited their corrupted DNA, if you are willing to accept it.

Tactic 2

The second tactic is in the first Scripture cited in this article. It is called accusation. He accuses us before God Day and night. He falsely blames the saints of God. His accusations may make us lose hope in God if we are ignorant of his schemes. That means he may be keeping records of our wrongs, sins, and mistakes to present to God. He condemns us because he knows our weaknesses and shortfalls.

The good news is that the scripture cited here indicates that he is already defeated, even though he can try his tactics. The Bible says, “Now salvation and power are set in place, and the kingdom reign of our God and the ruling authority of his Anointed One are established’’.

That means God is not going to change His mind about His anointed ones. They have been established. He Has given us a ruling authority.

Tactic 3

The third tactic is that he uses intimidation. He threatens as a lion will do but is not a lion. He pretends and behaves like a lion, but it’s not a lion. He is seeking the weaker one to destroy, but thank God, if you are in Christ, you are not weak, because greater is He who is in you than the one who is in the world.

God has given us His spiritual tools, as shown in Ephesians chapter 6. The full armor of God. You can read that from verse 10. The first thing that the Bibleadvises us to do is to cast all our cares upon Him. This will prevent fear, which is the opposite of faith. Fear is a tool the enemy uses to paralyze us. Almost every day, God admonishes us not to fear. This is because scholars discovered that the phrase fear-not appears 365 times in the Bible, and they concluded that, every day, God is reminding us not to fear.

The Tools We Have

Let me conclude by giving us some of the Biblical tools that we have in our possession. These are as follows:

– Authority in the name of Jesus

– The Holy Spirit to reveal the mind of God to us.

– The blood of Jesus that continually purifies us from all sin.

– His mantles that are like our spiritual clothing.

– The shield of faith, to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

– helmet of salvation- He Has put a mark or seal on us, guaranteeing our salvation.

– the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

– all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.

– The gifts of the Spirit

– Faith, hope, and love as forces of our human spirit

– The fruits of the Spirit

All these combined, will help us to stand our ground in the evil day that the Bible speaks about.

Prayer for you

Dear heavenly Father. Thank you for your Word that you spoke today through your servant. I pray that it will go forth like a hammer that breaks things into pieces. I pray that it will dismantle all the wrong foundations that were laid before; and establish that which you desire for your people. I pray that those who hear your Word will be energized, strengthened, and fortified today; and that there will be total submission to your Lordship and guidance.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray.

Amen.
