Psalm 27:1-2
Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the City, the guards stand watch in vain.
One day, we were going out for a weekend as a family. We all assumed that the doors were closed and locked. When we came back after three days, we were so surprised to discover that we left the door for the sitting room wide open. My first reaction was to check if the money was still there. We left a large sum of money because we could not get time to deposit it in the bank.
Thank God, everything was safe. For that reason, I invited my wife so that we could thank the Lord together.
Amazingly, just before our Thanksgiving prayer, I realized that the Bible was wide opened next to my feet, I was compelled to check it before the prayer, and I saw these two verses:
Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.
That was very humbling, and I was convinced that the LORD Had arranged those circumstances to teach us a lesson.
He watches over His children
This incident taught me that the LORD watches over His children all the time. The security guard may be tempted to sleep for a while during the night watch, but the LORD never sleeps. It is written; He who watches over you will not slumber. He is your shade at your right hand.
I encourage you to trust the LORD completely with your Life. Just learn to put Him first in everything you do. Allow Him to be in charge of everything you have, permit Him to order your steps daily, and your life will be a testimony to all.
He is more than ready to watch over your coming in and going out, both now and forevermore.
License Him to watch over your life, and you will live a life of freedom.
PRAYER
Thank you Lord for this message you have impressed upon my heart. Let it affect and transform every soul that you may divinely direct to read. I pray that you release your anointing of conviction upon everyone who will read it.
